"Televangelists Jan and Paul Crouch of the Costa Mesa-based Trinity Broadcasting Network have purchased a Newport Beach house for close to $5 million, Orange County Realtors say.  The home was described as 'a palatial estate with ocean and city views.'  The Crouches had been living in a smaller house in the same neighborhood.  The house they bought has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a billiard room, a climate-controlled wine cellar, a sweeping staircase and a crystal chandelier.  The three-story, nearly 9,500-square-foot house, which has an elevator, also has a six-car garage, a tennis court and a pool with a fountain.  The house is on slightly more than an acre.  Jan Crouch had been wanting a bigger yard for her dogs, sources said."

Bush and Arnold Shwartzeneggar.  It's amazing how Robertson can question how a black man like Freeman can be a success in the fictional world of Hollywood, but not question the success of George W. Bush, who despite being rejected by Texas University, and then being a mediocre student at Yale and Harvard, and a failure at the several businesses he was involved with, (except for the ball team which succeeded at the expense of the local tax-payers who paid for his team's ball park), was a drunk who drove while incapacitated, and possibly a drug user as well, but was lucky enough to have a media that would hide his dismal record so that he could become a mediocre governor and then be proclaimed a great president with no achievements to justify that record !         Robertson's latest African Dictator buddy is the murderous fellow Baptist preacher Charles Taylor, embattled ruler of Liberia ( until he was finally removed from office. ):
        Pat Robertson, business partner of Liberian dictator Charles Taylor, defended the man Monday saying, "...we're undermining a Christian, Baptist president to bring in Muslim rebels to take over the country. And how dare the president of the United States say to the duly elected president of another country, 'You've got to step down.'"
        Charles Taylor has been accused by the UN of dealing in "conflict" diamonds and gun smuggling supporting atrocities in Sierra Leone including rape, mutilations and murder. The hands of some victims are hacked off as a message to prevent the people from voting. Taylor also has ties to al Qaeda. Faced with charges such as these Taylor has blithely responded, "Jesus Christ was accused of being a murderer in his time."         Pat Robertson entered into a partnership with the Liberian government in a gold mining venture four years ago. Taylor and Robertson have together staged large religious ralleys where attendance was often compulsory.         "I have never met Taylor in my life. I don't know what he has done or hasn't done" Robertson told his audience. Relying on ignorance to exonerate himself and a "Baptist President" Robertson has scandalized many conservative Christians. According to the Washington Post, Richard Land, head of the Southern Baptist Convention's public policy arm, said "I would say that Pat Robertson is way out on his own, in a leaking life raft, on this one."

        In his book, 'The Deadly Deception', Jim Shaw, an ex-33rd degree mason relates how the Rev. Billy Graham was present at his own initiation ceremony as a 33rd degree mason. Since only freemasons are allowed to attend these ceremonies Graham must have been at least a freemason. Huffington House refused to publish Shaw's book until Grahams' name was replaced with a simple reference to "a well known evangelist".
        Robert Schuller (Crystal Cathedral/Self-help pulpit guru), Norman Vincent Peale (Positive Thinking apostle), and Oral Roberts (Godfather of the "seed-faith" doctrines in contemporary fundamentalist-charismatic Christianity) are all admittedly 33rd degree Masons.

        Deal W. Hudson, publisher of the conservative Catholic magazine Crisis and a close ally of the Bush White House, has resigned as an adviser to the Bush-Cheney reelection campaign because of allegations that he got an underage female Fordham University student whom he knew to have emotional problems drunk and then molested a decade ago.
        Hudson, 54, had been a key player in the Republican Party's effort to attract Roman Catholic voters. Because of his connections to the White House and his friendship with senior presidential adviser Karl Rove, he was widely regarded as a Catholic power broker in Washington.
        Hudson announced Wednesday in the online edition of National Review magazine that he was leaving his unpaid position in the Bush campaign because 'a liberal Catholic newspaper' was about to publish an investigation detailing 'allegations from over a decade ago involving a female student at the college where I then taught.' "
